Ten years after a mysterious haze swept across the globe exterminating all life in its path, only those at high elevation survived. Isolated like a volcanic island amidst a sea of toxic fog, the residents of the Big Bear Co-Op are finally on the verge of getting society back on track. But tribalism among rival factions, diminishing resources, and a newly-discovered, supernatural threat all conspire to derail the fledgeling community’s attempts to restore order to the world. ‘Rim of the World’ is a boiler room microcosm of our society. As the pressure rises, will humanity’s optimism and resourcefulness win the day? Or will our worst nature prevail and suffocate the last, desperate gasp of mankind?

The history of America is written in blood. Yet we often misperceive history as a corpse: dry, dead, and decomposing. ‘American Blood’ reanimates history by telling some of the most extraordinary, lesser-known tales from our country’s violent past. ‘American Blood’ is an anthology series - each season tells a self-contained story that seeks to lift the lid of our nation’s historical coffin and see which skeletons are inside.

Season one dives into the swashbuckling tale of William Eaton (a man as American and as stubborn as a football helmet) as he attempts the unthinkable - leading an army of 2 marines and 200 mercenaries 500 miles across the Libyan desert to overthrow the tyrannical ruler of Tripoli. It is America’s first - but certainly not last - foray into the world of international statecraft. But there’s more at stake than national pride - 300 American sailors are held captive in Tripoli, forced into a life of slavery on a foreign shore. Will Eaton’s insane gambit pay off? The fact that most Americans cannot answer that question is a testament to the necessity of this series. While the average citizen might not remember this event, the marines certainly do - it’s memorialized in their Marines’ Hymn: “From the halls of Montezuma / To the shores of Tripoli / We fight our country’s battles / In the air, on land, and sea…”

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away… In this spec script for Disney’s ‘The Mandalorian’, our stoic and enigmatic hero, Mando, follows a lead that could shed light on the identity of the Child, Mando’s curious and cherubic ward. Their journey brings them to Kashyyyk, a forested planet best-known for its furry inhabitants - the Wookiee. But the colossal forests of Kashyyyk are home to many monsters, including some unwelcome guests - a squadron of Imperial stormtroopers. On a planet where death is always one wrong footstep away, Mando has to learn to accept that he isn’t always at the top of the food chain.
